DANNII Minogue had her first official day as an X Factor judge yesterday - and is itching to wage war on Simon Cowell. Dannii, 35, said after watching her first auditions: "I can't wait to be part of the team and getting up close and personal on a daily basis with Simon. "I'm the new girl but I won't be a pushover. He'll see my competitive streak." Advertisement Fellow new judge Brian Friedman, 29, added: "I'm flattered to be offered such a coveted position." An ITV1 insider called the batch of hopefuls at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium "a typical mixture of the weird and wonderful. "Brian and Dannii better get used to it. You need patience."
