TV TALENT show acts – including the first group thrown off this year's X Factor – will switch on Christmas lights in Plymouth City Centre, The Herald can reveal. The girl-group Bad Lashes, who exited the Saturday evening music show two weeks ago after singing their own version of Oasis' Wonderwall, has been approached to throw the switch outside the Drake Circus mall on November 13. And dance duo Signature, who narrowly failed to win Britain's Got Talent back in June, will perform a similar function at the inaugural West End Christmas Carnival weekend on December 4, 5 and 6.
