A SCOTS X Factor reject is to take on the winner of the TV contest in a Christmas chart battle.
Amy Connelly, made it through boot camp and was among the last 24 in the competition.
But she was knocked out when judges chose the final 12 acts.
The teenager, whose family are from Cadder, East Dunbartonshire, was snapped-up by a record company who realised her potential.
And on Monday she'll release her debut single We Could Be The One which will go head to head with X Factor winner JLS, Eoghan Quigg or Alexandra Burke.
