I just don’t understand. Why do people watch The X-Factor? More so, why do they like it?
This is the fifth series of The X-factor and is as predictable and banal as ever. Yet many are enthralled by it.
I am all for people doing what they love and making a career out of it. Those who have the ability to become successes from their own talent are worthy of admiration and respect. But I find it very difficult to feel any of that towards the contestants of The X-Factor.
Not all, but most people entering this competition seem to have little or no comprehension of what they’re signing themselves up for. Many cave in or break down a week into the contest. It conveys their lack of experience in the industry and their mental inability to cope with this sudden huge amount of responsibility and pressure put on them.
