The Diary has learned that the urchin-faced teenager was forced to cancel a string of Irish gigs after being struck down with the illness, with doctors ordering strict bed rest until he makes a proper recovery.
Eoghan was naturally gutted after having to pull out of his scheduled live performances, as time is of the essence when it comes to reality stars.
