A SINGER is gearing up for the performance of her life – the first round of live auditions for this year’s X Factor. Early next month Sarah Toomey, 24, will come face-to-face with her idol “Mr Nasty” Simon Cowell to perform George Gershwin’s Summertime, from the opera Porgy and Bess. Sarah will travel to Manchester for her audition because the London dates clashed with her holiday. Echo-News |
