Contestants on this weekend's "X-Factor" will perform songs by Take That and Sir Elton John, according to reports.
The remaining five pop wannabes have been asked to sing one from each of the acts for the show's two episodes.
However, none of the actual stars will appear to mentor them, despite previous turns by the likes of Robbie Williams, Whitney Houston and Queen.
"The plan is for the acts to do one up-tempo number and a more ballady one to show off both sides of their voices. Learning two songs is killing them", said a source.
Lloyd Daniels, Stacey Soloman, Danyl Johnson, Oily Murs and Joe McElderry are the surviving contestants.
