The fishing town of Peterhead has beaten off national competition to have X Factor winner Alexandra Burke perform a special concert. The Nokia contest was engineered so the place with the most votes in proportion to population would win. Everyone who voted for Peterhead will now be entered into a draw and winners will be chosen at random to win a pair of tickets for the gig. BBC |
