Jedward Signed by Sony X Factor twins Jedward have signed a deal with Sony Music, it was announced today. John and Edward Grimes, 18, will release their debut single, Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby), featuring 90s star Vanilla Ice – which they performed at the National Television Awards last night – from Sunday January 31. “A year ago, we were training for cross country competitions and now like our idols, we are living our dream – we really can’t believe that we have a single out and are performing with Vanilla Ice,” the siblings said today. Manager Louis Walsh added: “As 'Under Pressure' was the track that catapulted the boys to fame, it seemed only fitting to release the song as their first single.” Jedward – who will take part in The X Factor 2010 Live tour from Monday February 15 – are dedicating the single to their “supportive” fans. waveguide.co.uk |
