SINITTA reckons she's near-enough bagged a job on the upcoming US X Factor - pipping Cheryl Cole and other big names to the post.
The singer who dated Simon Cowell in the 80s, said the music mogul has given her the green light on the new American show.

Sinitta, 41, explained: "I've told him that I want to and he said 'it shouldn't be a problem'."

And she advised Cheryl, who said that Americans wouldn't understand her Geordie accent, to "take elocution lessons".
