Thousands of budding singers have been auditioning for the latest series of The X Factor. Some hopefuls camped out all night in the cold and wet conditions in London's Docklands in the hope of meeting Simon Cowell. Contestant Vikki said: "At the moment, my only goal is to be judged by Simon because his opinion is the only one I have ever valued. "Unfortunately I picked the rainy day, but so far it has been worth it." The X Factor will return to ITV1 in the autumn. ITN |
