Diana Vickers has opened up a narrow lead over Plan B and AC/DC in the albums market as she bids to follow her number one single with a chart-topping album. Her newly-issued RCA album Songs From The Tainted Cherry Lane is around 2,700 sales ahead of 679/Atlantic’s Plan B with The Defamation Of Strickland Banks at this stage of the week, according to OCC data, with AC/DC’s Columbia-handled Iron Man 2 soundtrack a further few hundred sales behind.
