Public boot Belle Amie off The X Factor

Belle Amie left The X Factor tonight.

Following the public vote, the girl group - put together by Simon Cowell - ended up in the bottom two acts with a weeping Katie Waissel.

The sing-off ended in deadlock with Simon and Louis Walsh voting to keep in Belle Amie and Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue choosing to save Katie.

Host Dermot O'Leary explained that the viewers' poll would decide the matter and it was Belle Amie who lost out.

note the non standing aplause of JK by any judge and the cold shoulder from Danni And Chezza then the grovelling statement from JK himself ... I guess if you are going to make vile statements to the sun about people dont expect them to like you afterwards ...

Personaly after what he said about the ladies I would of just booted his ass off the show, by all means say the judges are rubish but to say what he did was just vile.

Simon Cowell

Simon Cowell has reportedly told the remaining X Factor contestants they can pick their own songs to perform on the show after of all the moaning.

The X Factor boss has been getting increasingly tired with contestants complaining about the songs they have been given by their mentors.

According to a newspaper report he has told them: "You're on your own."

Cowell called the remaining 10 acts to his dressing room after Sunday night's results show to tell them they could make their own song choices but the responsibility would be theirs if they failed to impress.

Numerous contestants have criticised their song choices over the past few weeks including Brazilian Wagner who admitted he had never even heard of Meatloaf's Bat Out Of Hell.

And Matt Cardle, one of this year's favourites to win, confessed he was 'not impressed' at being given the Britney Spears hit Baby One More Time to sing.
