DESPERATE Katie Waissel is determined to stay in the spotlight - even if it means wearing next to nothing in the freezing weather. The unpopular X Factor wannabe tried to ride her raunchy see-through outfit underneath a chunky cardigan and scarf out in Manchester on Boxing Day.
She teamed up a pair of black leather trousers with a sheer bodysuit which clearly displayed her cleavage as she left the city's Essential nightclub with a pal.
Katie, 24, has tried to capitalise on her new-found fame since leaving the show.
But so far she's only made the odd appearance at clubs and performed at small gigs.
She recently sang to just a few dozen people at the Empire nightclub in Middlesbrough.
Katie also belted out some Christmas tunes at a festive sing-along in Manchester's Selfridges.
While runners-up Rebecca Ferguson, One Direction and Cher Lloyd have all been snapped up by Simon Cowell's record label, Katie has not yet been offered a deal.
