DANNII Minogue’s boyfriend Kris Smith has struck up a close friendship with a stunning model.

Rugby player Kris, 32, is being supported by stunning 28-year-old Lauren Phillips as he and the former X Factor judge fight to save their relationship.

“They are good mates,” said a source close to the pair, who both model for a clothing chain in Australia.
