SIMON Cowell rocked The X Factor yesterday by signing up Olly Murs to host the Xtra Factor - just hours before the show was due to start. Olly, 27 - who was runner-up to Joe McElderry in 2009's X Factor - will front the ITV2 spin-off with Caroline Flack. The pair only got the contracts after Radio 1 DJ Matt Edmondson was dropped at the last minute - leaving the 25-year-old devastated. Sun |
