Her popularity was beginning to take a nosedive after turning her back on The X Factor and straight into the arms of serial cheater Ashley Cole. But Cheryl Cole appears to have taken hold of the reigns again, telling her ex-husband their relationship is over for good. She has also struck up her friendship with music mogul Simon Cowell again, after they temporarily stopped speaking when Nicole Scherzinger replaced her as a judge on the USA series of the talent reality show.
