SIMON Cowell will give jobless kids work experience on the X Factor in a deal with ministers brokered by The Sun.

The show's boss made the offer after Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith urged him to give unemployed teens a chance.

The minister wrote to Cowell following the pair's clash in The Sun. The music mogul has sent back a letter declaring he is eager to help out.
