it would be preferable to have a bit of both, but if its a choice between one or the other i would go talent.

But you have to like the person or whatever they do is tainted...no?

to a degree, but then again, there are some fantastic performers and singers out there that I really dont like as people but you cant deny talent.

But would you buy a record by a person you don't like?

...the list of the flaws in genius' is endless - but we still love their music.

If I loves the song and the way it was performed yes.

I buy music to listen to, not fantasize in anyway shape or form about the person/people singing it. I buy music I like not the person singing it.

I have to say yes to that..


I have every single Paul Weller song ever recorded..I adore his music and think he one of the best song writers and performers around

But every time I have seen, heard ar read an interview by him, he comes across as completely arrogant twit

Andy may not have the strongest voice in the world, but it is very pleasent sounding

When they were sing their christmas song on saturday the worst one was Kirsty...so her going out so early was probably justified.

I liked Andy also he was in my group of 4 faves from the beginning of the final 12

each to there own, Andy had a nice yet weak voice, ok for a band but as a solo singer nah, no good.
Dont get me wrong I like the guy, I've worked with him whilst he was in 3SL, him and his brothers and his dad especially are all really nice people, but I just dont think he was good enough vocaly.
