Last year Will might have sunk if he hadn't won...Gareth was always going to get a record deal.

Same with Mark and Michelle ....might make on or both of them have more chance than would have otherwise.

I was so delighted that Mark got through (nothing against Sam though) and I thought Michelle sang really well, I actually like her voice

Wasn't quite so happy with Pete Waterman's petulant remarks that this competition was no longer about music. I thought it was petty and unnecessary to make a comment like that and it was especially insulting to the finalists.

Yeah I agree Alex, there was no need for that. I also thought there was an awful lot of "oh no Sam has gone, how could you?", also not fair to the finalists.

Personaly Im glad Sam left, Mark IMO had the better voice of the two, though I think Mchelle should have left the competeition ages ago, but thats by and by, she is there in the final and good luck o both of them.

I really think the worst thing they could have done in this series is bring back past winners and finalists to perform, yet again, one comes on this week (Darius) and shows that this years competition hasnt been a patch on popstars, pop Idol, popstars the rivals as far as talent goes.
Darius could blow any of them off stage and he was the thrid place winner, Will coul, Gareth could, half of bloomin girls aloud could.

I must admit this years lot have made me apprieciate what a good singer Will Young is

I think I was suprised Sam went because of all the hype around him..I'm sure he'll still do well though, as should all of the final three

I'm not going to go as far as to actually vote but I'd like Mark to win.

Has he now got Sam's votes and the 'underdog' votes? Will that be enough I wonder? I hope so.

I've always been a big fan of Darius and I've to agree that this year's final ten weren't a patch on last year's lot. Though whatever happened to Gareth's mate, Zoe?

There was a lot of hype around Sam and if the final was him and Michelle the rumors of Fix would have reached a maximum. So however the final was chosen I bet the producers are sighing in relief its not a Will v Gareth moment again.
Darius is one hell of a singer/performer, as is Will, Gareth was the pretty boy bubblegum pop type boy, though he again does have an amazing voice.
The final people this year are so bland and so overrated and so much less talented than the previous ones. Though that (as we are meant to believe) is down to the public votes and nothing else.

Well well done UK, you have proven once and for all that Talent doenst have anything to do with the muisc industry in your eyes...well done *claps*

As for Mark... he can sing well but there is nothing special about his voice. You wouldn't recognise him on the radio as he is just not distinctive.

Yep she is bubbly, yep she is very overweight, yep she can hold a tune...

nothing there to make her star quality yet.

Come on Jon, she's got a distinctive, easy to listen to voice, I would recognise her if I heard her on the radio.

yes a easy to listen to voice, but seriously I bet we all hear people who sing as well if not better than her down the local karaoke everyweek, there isnt anything "special" about her is what Im trying to say.
