Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special 2008

BBC1, Thursday 25 December - 7:00pm - 8:00pm



Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly host a seasonal special of the celebrity ballroom dancing competition. Former Strictly contestants Alesha Dixon, Kelly Brook and Jill Halfpenny are back to dance, and they join this year's top three couples in competing to be crowned Christmas champion 2008. With music from Russell Watson.

Jill Halfpenny won last night’s Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.

The former EastEnders actress, along with partner Darren Bennett, originally won the 2004 series and last night danced the American Smooth to Barry Manilow’s My Favourite Things.

This year’s winner, Tom Chambers and partner Camilla Dallerup, received the lowest scores of the evening for their foxtrot to Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
