Who will wow with their Salsa or Viennese Waltz?

This week our remaining contestants will dance either the Viennese Waltz or a Salsa. Who will lead their partners through to week six and who will fall foul of the judges' comments and miss out on your votes? Tune in on Saturday at 5.45pm and 9.25pm on BBC One to find out.

Don't forget that on the night your votes count for 50 per cent of the final score. So pick up the phone and vote to keep your favourite couple in the competition. Click here for the details.

To help make your decision, digital and satellite viewers can press the red button on their remote to listen to an expert commentary by Philip Jackson. This week he's joined by special guest commentator James Jordan.

You can also print off our scorecard or paddles to judge for yourself.

You can find out about all the dances featured in the show in the Get Dancing section of the site.

Emma Bunton Storms Out Of Strictly Come Dancing Rehearsals

She struggles with Waltz....

The normally angelic Emma Bunton threw a hissy-fit during Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals this week – storming out of a session.

The former Spice Girl, who has so far impressed on the BBC TV show, snapped after becoming frustrated at the Viennese Waltz.

According to the Daily Mirror, she told dance partner Darren Bennett, “You can't be frustrated with me - you only taught me that today."

"I don't know what I'm doing - how many times must I tell you?"

However, Bunton later returned to her usual self and apologised for her behaviour.

Mark, and Ray were the stars of last Saturday's show for me - Peter Schmichel was suprisingly good at the Viennese waltz but I think his days in the show are numbered (and rightly so) he looks too awkward when he dances.

Len Goodman got way too personal with Darren last Saturday, I can't remember exactly what he said, something to do with Darren being from Sheffield - really unprofessional of Len.

No, you're not! I'm warming to Vincent though, although I thought that having a lisp was a purely British handicap-it does make me laugh. Reminds me of years ago, when I heard Beckham speak for the first time. Incongruous voice with the looks...

Another shocking result for me last night with Ray and Camilla voted off.!
Makes me wonder when good dancers like Spoony and Ray are voted off if it's because they are not as popular with the viewers as other contestants (regardless of their dancing skills) like Peter and Matt for example.

Ray was a better, more exciting dancer than Peter or Matt,IMO

Emma was the best of the salsa dancers last night. ()^

NO FEARON
Corrie's Ray and Camilla are voted off

CORONATION Street's Ray Fearon was the latest celebrity to be voted off TV's Strictly Come Dancing in a shock vote last night.

The 39-year-old actor, who played sexy mechanic Nathan Harding in the ITV1 soap, was booted off despite being 10/1 odds on to win the show at one point and was overall No4 favourite.

Ray looked stunned as he and partner Camilla Dallerup were given the lowest score by the judges for their so-so samba - and the public agreed.

His eight-year-old daughter Rosa-May, who was in the audience to support her dad, looked upset as star Ray bowed out.

The couple were narrowly beaten by "gruesome twosome" Claire King and Brendan Cole who have regularly been in the bottom two but managed to survive again for yet another week.

Ray's departure was doubly shocking after goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel's sorry samba, described by one judge as "absolutely heinous".

His dance verged on the comical at times as he strode off mid-routine in a completely different direction to his partner Erin Boag.

But the public voted to keep the great Dane in the competition instead of Ray to the huge surprise of insiders at the hit show.

Highest scorers of the night were ex-Spice Girl Emma Bunton and her partner Darren Bennett who were given 36/40 for their saucy samba.

Competition is now hotting up between favourites cricketer Mark Ramprakash, singer Emma, actress Louisa Lytton and England rugby ace Matt Dawson - who won second place last night with his harming "American Smooth.

Changing Rooms presenter Carol Smillie looked visibly upset when judges criticised her "American Smooth" dance and called her "a rough diamond."

But hot favourite Mark Ramprakash, who has had the female voters' pulses rating, didn't quite live up to expectations last night.

He was beaten by Emma and Matt and admitted the pressure had been getting to him during rehearsals this week.

And fellow sporting hero Matt, who had been told he was "holding back" with his dancing, even hired an acting coach this week to help him overcome his nerves when he dances with partner Lilia Kopylova. And it obviously paid off.

Ahhh, Peter danced his last jig last night and we'll never get to see him do the 'jive' now - though after seeing some of his Latin dances maybe that's a blessing in disguise. ::lol::

Peter seems like a lovely guy but he should have went before the better dancers like Ray and Sponny.IMO

I thought Emma danced better than ever last night, couldn't believe the judges marked her lower than Matt (by name and nature)Dawson - I find him boring to watch no matter how much he's improved over the weeks.

Louisa was great at the 'tango' though I think she's a bit too young to pull-off the sensual look needed for the tango, the look on her face was more scared stiff than sultry.IMO

Claire danced really well but I didn't feel there was any chemistry between her and Brendan during their tango - I agree with Arlene when she says it's not enough that the contestants be technically good they need to act the part, especially in the Latin dances.

Carole Smillie could be a LOT better if ony she had more 'oomph' when she dances - even Mark has lost his mojo recently as far as I'm concerned. The only one who stands out for me now is Emma, she's technically a good dancer and really acts the part. ()^

Six weeks after he became the first celebrity to be kicked off Strictly Come Dancing, Nicholas Owen is waltzing away from ITV to join the BBC full time. This is good news not only for BBC news but also for the organisers of Children in Need, who will have another game for a laugh presenter to take part in their next hilarious charity skit. "It will be very difficult to leave behind my highly talented and lovely colleagues at ITN," says Owen. "It seemed the right moment to go for new challenges - and I look forward to plenty of those at BBC News." Yes, Nick, including singing comedy songs and making full use of the dressing up box. Oh, and presenting on News 24. Alastair Stewart will replace Owen on the ITV Lunchtime News. If Stewart asks to take part in next year's Strictly Come Dancing, his bosses will presumably tell him to foxtrot off. guardian

EXCLUSIVE: STRICTLY REBELLION

STRICTLY Come Dancing stars staged a revolt after BBC bosses plotted to bring back one of the evicted contestants.

TV chiefs wanted to let viewers vote back their favourite from the nine ousted from the show. But the five remaining contestants were furious and branded the twist "deeply unfair".

After an almighty row producers agreed to scrap the plan.

Show bosses hatched the plan after Jimmy Tarbuck, 66, was forced to pull out after suffering from high blood pressure.

An insider said: "Some of the celebs were raging at the thought of competing against someone who'd been ejected.

"They argued that they had been working their socks off learning new dances, while the others have been getting on with their normal lives.

"They said it would be deeply unfair if someone could return and win. They also said the audience would be confused."

The five left in the show are: Changing Rooms star Carol Smillie, former Spice Girl Emma Bunton, cricketer Mark Ramprakash, ex-EastEnder Louisa Lytton, and rugby ace Matt Dawson. mirror
