EXCLUSIVE: ZOE UNFAIR
TV rival's 'cheat' jibe over dance tutor No2
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Zoe Ball was branded a cheat by a show rival last night - for secretly arranging extra lessons with another expert.
Zoe, 33, practices for up to six hours daily with partner Ian Waite but has asked top choreographer Steven Hoggett for more help.
One fellow hopeful on the BBC1 show, who asked not to be named, seethed: "To be going after extra lessons is tantamount to cheating in my book.
ACCUSED: Zoe
"Already she comes in every week claiming she's hardly done any practice. She's clearly doing hours and hours, but why she won't admit it is a mystery.
"Ian always talks about how much work they've put in - and they are always brilliant on the night.
"I just wish she'd be a bit more honest about it. She's already doing six hours with Ian, where on earth does she get the energy from?"
Ian and his then-partner Denise Lewis were runners-up last year, but bookies now make him and Zoe odds-on favourites to win this year's December 17 final.
Former Radio 1 star Zoe is so determined to triumph she has moved to London to focus on the competition, leaving DJ husband Fatboy Slim, 42, and son Woody, four, back home in Brighton.
She confessed: "My husband doesn't know who I am and my son doesn't remember me because I'm dancing 24/7."
Meanwhile, the BBC claims there have been "tears and violence" between the couple as they have not got on during rehearsals this week.
Zoe's new tutor Steven choreographed the TV advert for phone firm Orange, in which a couple start ballroom dancing while doing the housework.
Steven, who also runs dance company Frantic Assembly, admitted he was about to start working with her.
He said: "I've only just found out about it. I can't say much about it."
Last night a BBC insider said: "After hosting The Match on Sky One, Zoe's desperate to revive her career.
"To boost her profile she needs to stay on Strictly Come Dancing as long as possible, which means going all out to win it.
"Strictly speaking she's not breaking any rules, but there's a feeling that having extra tuition on the side would be a bit sneaky."
