Julien heading back to dancefloor

Julien Macdonald has promised Strictly Come Dancing viewers: "I'll be back!"

The Welsh fashion designer was voted off the BBC show in the third week of the competiion, but hasn't stopped practising his moves.

Julien revealed at the Unicef Halloween ball: "It was amazing. I had an incredible time and I haven't stopped dancing - I'm going back for the Christmas special so look out! I'll be back!"

Now he is out of the running, Julien is torn between wanting one of the girls who have proved to be the best dancers to win, or having one of the men who have gone for humour over skill to scoop the glitterball trophy.

Julien said: "I'd love Abbey [Clancy] or Natalie [Gumede] to win, they're the great dancers, but everybody's a winner. I'd even kind of like Mark [Benton] or Dave [Myers] to win, everybody's fabulous on Strictly."

Rachel Riley Is Eliminated In An Emotional Dance Off

The dance off was a bit of a shocker this week. One of the judges’ favourites, Abbey Clancy, and her partner Alijaz Skorjanec were the first couple to be voted in the bottom two. Poor Abbey gets nervous enough on the Saturday night show, so we can’t imagine how terrified she must have been, having to dance again (although her face gave quite a good indication).

Natalie Gumede to miss show

Strictly Come Dancing contestant Natalie Gumede has pulled out of Saturday's live show after fainting twice during rehearsals, the BBC said.

The Coronation Street actress, 29, was checked by the medical team on site and will go to hospital "as a precaution".

The BBC said Gumede would be allowed to continue next week but one celebrity would still leave this weekend.

Last Saturday, Gumede, and partner Artem Chigvintsev, finished four points ahead of their nearest rivals.
