Rachel to hit dancefloor Sun Online SUPERMODEL Rachel Hunter looks set to dust off her dancing shoes to take part in a US reality show based on the hit BBC1 show " Strictly Come Dancing". The beauty will be joined by ex-New Kids On The Block star Joey McIntyre and boxing champ Evander Holyfield in the show - Dancing With The Stars - which will pair celebrities with professional dancers. Just like the BBC show, the contestants will be judged by a panel of experts and also by viewers at home with one couple being eliminated each week. The celebs have already embarked on intense training in preparation for the first live show which will take place in front of a studio audience. When the final two couples remain, the ultimate dance-off will determine who wins the trophy. |

I've been watching this season's 'Dancing With The Stars' and it's absolutely brilliant! The three celeb finalist; Laila Ali, Apolo Ohno and Joey Fatone are a joy to watch - Joey Fatone is sooo entertaining and such a likeable character as well as a great dancer (thanks to his partner Kym Johnson - the professional dancer of the two). However, my fave couple are Apolo Ohno and his professional dance partner Julianne Hough - I just LOVE watching those two dancing - not to mention the most beautiful dresses/outfits Julianne has worn each week. I think this is far better than out own Strictly Come Dancing and I agree with Bruno, Joey Fatone did indeed "Pimp the mambo". |

I haven't watched the final yet Maddi - will watch later this evening. Like you, I feel sad for Joey and Laila ...such good dancers....Joey Fatone was the most entertaining..... I like the way he moves. I'm delighted for Apolo and Julianne who were consistently good each show, they did some beautiful routines with excellent timing....I've watched their 'Cha Cha Cha' about 3 times now. Brilliant show with some great contestants. |

Thanks so much for that link, Maddy some of Apolo and Julianne's best clips on there - loved their 2nd quikstep and their freestyle Len Goodman thought their Cha Cha Cha was too raunchy but I loved it. It's hard to believe Julianne is only 18 years old, she's such a fabulous dancer. Be nice (hint, hint) to see some clips of Joey Fatone as well Maddy - especially him and Kym's 2nd jive and the dance they did to 'Grove Is In The Heart' can't remember what dance they did to that. I've just watched the final show - great to see all the contestants dance again as well as former winners of the show. I'm looking forward to the next 'Dancing With The Stars' hope it's half as good as this one's been. |

Thanks sooo much for those links Maddy Joey and Kym's second jive was the best jive for entertainmet value I've seen on any of the UK's or US's shows - he was my fave contestant personality wise. I loved watching him and Kym's training clips for his sense of humour. Although Joey worked hard he seemed to have more fun doing the dance routines than the others - so much so that Len often accused him of being too showy ..not sticking to the basic rules of the dance. Len said to Joey in the finals 'you've been trained but you've never been tamed' which was so true and he made the show all the better for that reason. |
