Strictly Christmas Special
Series three and four contestants will go head-to-head.


In a one-off, end-of-year extravaganza, celebrities take to the dance floor in a Strictly Come Dancing Special. This ultimate competition sees stars from the third and fourth series going head to head to perform their highest-scoring dances.

The theme of the programme is black and white, so whether it's wintry white gowns, the little black dress or top hat and tails, the dancers and the dance floor will be decked in black and white, setting the stage for some show-stopping performances.

King and Queen of the dance floor, Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly, host the special. The judging panel, led by Len Goodman, with Bruno Tonioli, Arlene Phillips and Craig Revel Horwood, deliver their verdict on the jittery celebs. Just like the weekly show, their decision makes up 50 per cent of the score, but the remainder come from the studio audience votes.

Special guest star Marti Pellow performs the Guys And Dolls classic, Luck Be A Lady.

The Striclty Christmas Special is on BBC One, Christmas Day at 8pm.

I'm thrilled Colin and Erin won last night, well deserved after being robbed of the winning title last year,IMO. Colin and Zoe's dancing was like poetry in motion (Colin's in particular) thanks to the brilliant choreography of Erin and Ian. FABULOUS! Zoe and Ian make a lovely looking dancing couple. Either Colin or Zoe should have won last year instead of Darren Gough.IMO I think Colin could have a career as a professional dancer if he so wished

I thought Colin and Zoe's dancing was far superior to any of this years contestants. I wasn't at all impressed with the way; Louisa, Emma, Mark danced last night (Matt always looks the same to me) maybe they were tired out or something but Louisa's jive for example, wasn't as good as the first time she did it, ditto Emma and Mark in their dance routines- but Colin and Erin...WOW!

I think, by the way he reacted when his name was called first Matt thought he'd won... but he very quickly realized his mistake and made light of it.
