SEXY ALESHA A NO-SHOW AS PROS REBEL
STRICTLY Come Dancing’s tour of Britain is in chaos – even before the first curtain has gone up.
The show has been hit by massive behind-the-scenes rows, as well as the loss of adored winner Alesha Dixon.
Thousands of fans have snapped up tickets to see the hit BBC1 show’s celebs, pro dancers and judges live on stage.
But gorgeous Alesha, 29, will not be taking part in the tour. Nor will model Kelly Brook, 28.
Judge Bruno Tonioli, 52, and the show’s best-known pro dancer Brendan Cole, 31, have also pulled out.
And the other dance pros are furious after discovering that the remaining three judges will rake in more than double their pay for the 37-date tour, which kicks off next month.
The dancers must perform twice a day, as well as training the celebs and arranging routines.
But while they get £5,000 a week, judges Craig Revel Horwood, 40, Arlene Phillips, 63, and Len Goodman, 63, get £12,000 a week for trotting out catty comments.
A show source said: “There is a lot of resentment. The dancers work damn hard and they are a vital element. People come to see the dancing, so if anyone is expendable it’s the judges. A lot of questions are being asked about why they’re paid so much.
“Alesha’s absence is also a massive blow. She is currently the nation’s golden girl.”
Sexy Alesha, 29, snubbed the tour to focus on reviving her singing career. She does have dreams of singing and dancing on stage – but not with Strictly Come Dancing.
Instead, she wants a top role in a musical, saying: “I’d love to do something like Chicago.”
The shows start on January 18 in Glasgow and will feature Letitia Dean, 40, Louisa Lytton, 19, Zoe Ball, 37, Denise Lewis, 35, Darren Gough, 37, and Matt Di Angelo, 20.
