Alesha Dixon is the bookies' favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night but rival Matt Di Angelo is hoping for an X Factor-style upset. The EastEnders actor is the underdog in the ballroom battle but insists he still has a chance of victory, after winning through to the grand final despite battling his nerves and forgetting his dance steps. He faces tough competition from Alesha, whose stunning moves have impressed the judges since week one. Di Angelo admitted that viewers may have voted for him and partner Flavia Cacace earlier in the contest out of sympathy. But he said: "I think it's impossible to win on a sympathy vote in the final. People should vote for the performance they see on the night. I think there's still a chance we can win. We're paying people off for having faith in us earlier." Former Mis-Teeq singer Alesha is 1/3 favourite with Ladbrokes, while Matt is 9/4. Alesha said she was amazed to be in the final two. "I was absolutely convinced that it was going to be an all-boy final. I just thought that the public would go for the boys," she said. "I have faith in the girls but I do feel we have to raise our game and we can't put a foot wrong. If we don't put a foot wrong and we nail the dances and we don't win, then we can't have any regrets." She said of her performances with partner Matthew Cutler: "I can't feel my body below the neck.
