Dancing With The Stars is due to hit our screens again on September 24th, but who will be appearing on this seasons show? We’ve got the lowdown, and some of the celebrities who will be showing their moves are rather shocking!

TMZ report a whole host of stars that have been leaked, the most surprising of them all being supermodel Gisele Bundchen! We’re sure those hot samba style dances will be easy for her.

Another rumoured star is Spice Girl Mel B. No doubt she is trying to get rid of her baby fat after giving birth, alongside Tori Spelling. Who’ll be able to get rid of more blubber?

Other contestants include Backstreet brother Aaron Carter, Mr. Las Vegas Wayne “Waynette” Newton, Doctor Quinn actress Jane Seymour, billionaire Mark Cuban, CNN reporter Richard Quest and 90210 actress Jennie Garth.

Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jnr, original Hulk Lou Ferrigno, Fame star Nia Peeples, Indy champ racer Helio Castroneves, actress Sabrina Bryan and the wonderful Marie Osmond make up the rest of the list.

US network ABC has revealed the latest batch of celebrities willing to high kick and cha-cha-cha for Dancing with the Stars (despite the fact the last version is still airing on BBC1, but this is America and they like to move fast with these things). Following in the footsteps of Heather Mills McCartney and flying the flag for the Brits are Melanie B, aka Scary Spice, and the actress once known as Doctor Quinn, Medical Woman, Jane Seymour. They will be jiving alongside actress Jennie Garth (she was in Beverley Hills 90210 once upon a time) and singer Marie Osmond. There are others of course but there is no point wasting space here as you won't have heard of any of them.

I thought all the contestants did really well considering it was the first show - but my faves at the moment are Julianne & Helio. I just love Julianne's choregraphy - I think Helio may help her retain the trophy for another year.

ACTRESS JANE SEYMOUR'S MOTHER DIES


Hollywood actress Jane Seymour is on her way to the UK after her mother died from complications following a stroke.

The 56-year-old former Bond girl, a contestant on America's Dancing With The Stars TV series, had to pull out of the results show to travel home.

Her publicist, Dick Guttman, said her mother, Mieke Frankenberg, 92, at her home in Hillingdon, west London.

Frankenberg was born in Holland and lived in Indonesia during the Second World War, where she spent more than three years in a Japanese concentration camp.

After that, she moved to England, married doctor John Frankenberg and had three daughters, Jane, Anne Gould, a homeopathic doctor, and Sally Frankenberg, a travel executive. Her husband died in 1990.

"She was ageless and had the spirit of a lively, effervescent, enthusiastic 21-year-old and only her body let her down," Seymour said in a statement.

"She had been through it all, seen horrors up close and chose to see the light and love of God and mankind in every aspect of life."

Seymour played Solitaire in the James Bond movie Live And Let Die and starred in the television series Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman.

Wow! I've just watched DWTS - to add to their 'mambo' dance from last week, another FABULOUS performance from Sabrina Bryan & her professional dance partner Mark Ballas dancing the quickstep. Sabrina already dances like one of the professional dancers - but then Sabrian is one of the 'Cheetha Grils' so no stranger to performing.

Helio Castroneves (the Indy car racing driver) also dances like a professional - LOVED him and Julianne dancing the cha-cha-cha, they're still my faves - to think it's only the second week and they got all 9 marks from the judges, well deserved.IMO

Mel B, Sabrina, Jayne Seymour and Jennie Garth were all fantastic this week. Mel B's jive was better than Sabrina's.IMO. Jennie Garth's quickstep was the best though. Helio and Julianne are still my faves - I ddidn't agree with the judges verdict on their jive, I thouhgt it was as good as Mel's and Sabrina's. Marie Osmond seems like such a nice woman, I hope she stays in the show for a while yet.

Much better celebrity dancers on DWTS than on SCD.IMO Wayne Newton should have went out last week BEFORE Albert Reed who was a much better dancer and could have got better had he been kept in the show.

I had a look at Mel and Max's samba on youtube..... she just gets better and better - will sky+ and watch the rest of the show on UKTV Gold over the weekend.

OMG, Marie Osmond, I thought she was only pretending to faint - I like her, I hope she doesn't pull out of the show for fear of this happening again.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Jayne Seymour copes with the Latin dances.

So many good celebrity dancers on this show.
