Dancer Anton du Beke said last night he would love to take over when host Bruce Forsyth calls it a day.

Anton’s name is in the frame for the role of Strictly Come Dancing presenter as rumours of 80-year-old Brucie’s retirement escalate.

But the 42-year-old housewives’ favourite admitted that the veteran entertainer will be a tough act to follow on the hit BBC1 show.
