STRICTLY Come Dancing faced crisis last night as the judges threatened to waltz off if hopeless John Sergeant wins.They are on a collision course with producers over the 64-year-old TV political pundit’s survival.
The judges fear duffer John is turning the show into a farce and are questioning their futures on the hit BBC series.
Already this year Len Goodman, 64, Craig Revel Horwood, 41, Bruno Tonioli, 52, and Arlene Phillips, 64, have been in dispute over their pay.
Len has also hinted he is finding doing both UK and US versions a strain. But the row over the show’s duffest dancer could prove the final straw.
A source revealed: “They have nothing against John personally and respect the people who vote for him.
“But they are finding it tough voting off talented dancers as he plods around.
“Feelings are running high. Fans may see it as a laugh to keep John in but the joke’s lost on the judges.
“Maybe by threatening to quit they are hoping to jolt fans into seeing sense and voting John off.
“If all the judges went it would be a serious blow.”
