TELLY presenter Christine Bleakley yesterday became the first major BBC star to be hit with a pay cut. The popular One Show host has agreed a new two-year deal — but her salary of around £100,000 is understood to have been trimmed back slightly. The BBC is believed to have told the Northern Irish beauty, 29, to accept a lower deal or walk away as part of a plan to slash stars’ salaries. SUN |
