Vernon Kay is apparently producer's top choice to replace Bruce Forsyth on Strictly Come Dancing.According to reports, the BBC feel that Vern hosting alongside wife Tess Daley would be the "dream ticket" for the show.
However it is believed that Strictly bosses do not want to axe 82-year-old Bruce, instead hoping he retires before the new series starts in Autumn 2011.
Vernon, 36, currently works for ITV where he presents gameshow All Star Family Fortunes.
He and wife Tess, 41, last worked together in 2007 when they hosted the BBC celebrity singing show Just The Two Of Us.
