We've had our first Air frost of the Winter dropping to -0.5C.
Better start clearing the car ready for the untreated back roads.

ditto (except it was my M and D's cars), was the same again this morning except it was more like ice - wasn't very pleasant walking to school because I was so certain I was going to slip

It was icy again this morning... I don't remember it starting this early usually  It's horrid trying to walk to school though!

Night temperatures while still cold are warmer down south.
Thursday night was just above -2.5C and last night just above -2C.
Glad it hasn't rained during the day as so far none of the roads I use have been gritted but saying that they haven't felt icy.

Ah well more of the same to follow.

A blizzard is going over North-Carelia at the moment, with about -2 degrees celcius. The wind is settling down while the evening turns in to the night.

A little bit snow on the ground this morning - it means that it's lighter out in the evenings and nights! :D :D :D

It was baltic the whole day through... work didn't seem to heat up in the slightest which is always pleasant. :-?

Mum told me when she was taking the dog to the river in the car this morning it was minus 5 on the car thermometer thingy, don't know just how accurate that thermometer is though.

The temp at the moment is MINUS 3c, and may go down to minus6c.

Sunday night it may go down to MINUS 7c

No sign of any moisture yet so snow is not on the way :-?

Yeah, we've not really had snow - there was a wee bit one night earlier in the week and then sleet the following day but not proper snow.

If anybody wants to join my campaign in getting some heating in my dept at work it would be most appreciated! ::lol::

Sorry to point out the blindingly funny here, but talking about the weather is a typically British thing. Nice to see you guys have dragged a Finn and a Scandinavian into the boring depths of Britishdom as well ::lol:: ::lol::
