It would certainly have to be serious considering the volume  ::lol::

We've finally got the snow. Snowed a lot this afternoon and now my house is getting pelted with snow balls.

and this is how I'll be having fun on Sunday now the rehearsal has been cancelled...

Don't know how noticable it is from the photographs how much deeper it has got since the start of the week but to the eye it is a lot!

Muppet... where have those photographs you posted gone?! They were fab!

From that first one you can totally tell that the snow has been played in quite a lot

TD  I'm not that bad... well ::lol:: nah, Dad and I were making a path earlier and then as you can see at the more shallow bit it got snowed on again.

Aw thanks Morrissey, TBH I don't agree as my photography skills leave a lot to be desired :-? My dad is a very good photographer so don't think I'll ever meet that standard... he doesn't mind telling me that either ::lol::

Just wanted to show the depth of the show instead of my photography... the thing that makes me laugh is up by the whirly you can see the dodgy chair which has been knocked over by the weight of snow on it and is not near enough buried. Neither of the ponds are exactly noticable either :-?

Snow ...... What's that ?
We have had the odd short shower but nothing settled for long.
A few cold nights by our standards last 3 nights were -3.2 , -4.3 , -4.0 according to the weather station but also dry so hardly any ice on the roads.
Wind chill is one of the problems though making it feel much colder ,can't give examples though as the anometer failed about a year ago so can't measure wind speed.

Just to show it's cold in the midlands / East Anglia here is a picture of our pond this evening.
And a sign of madness this chap was flying around in his Microlite for ages. He should have had ice on things.

I like your pond Larry, it's very nice even at this time of the year. For a few months until all the plants start to look good again in the spring ours always looks horrid.

It has just started snowing really big flakes here... again... and it was snowing last night (rather late on when I was standing on top of the massive mound of snow that I posted above singing kinda quietly  ::lol:: ) - is it EVER going to stop?

Don't worry , Jezi  - it won't last six months like it usually does over here! ::lol:: There'll be spring soon and after that summer! :D

A heatwave is a coming! It's been very warm the last few days but at the beginning of next week it's looking like 90F+ down south
