I got in my car Saturday afternoon (about 3.45) and the temp gauge said 37!

I'm definitely not with Nikki on this one - whoever invented aircon should be canonised :D

Am off to Cambridge for 3 days at the end of the week - hoping it stays nice for my punt down the Cam ...

Aye - hot is one word for it!

Quite enjoying it, actually - trying to get used to it ready for the big trip to New York City next month ... it's gonna be a scorcher! :D :D :D

Was 36 degrees in the car when I got in yesterday, not sure about today but felt hotter.
Suffering big time.

My car said 80° at about 8.30 last night and that was doing 85mph on the M25. You would think the wind at that speed would be cold.

Absolutely roasting here, so much so that I've only got a pair of shorts on.

We just had a lovely thunder storm.

Thankfully plenty of rain for the garden ()^

I have no idea what the temperature is, but I gave the kids the job of watering the garden at 6 o'clock and they have been playing with the hosepipe (which is spraying freezing cold water) ever since.

Topped out at a little over 29C here.
Nice storm with most of the county without power for just over an hour between 1700 and 1810.

Don't know what got hit but sure it'll be on the local news.

Also don't know the rainfall figures from the storm as the rain gauge crashed ,from the power cut ,and shows 283mm !!

Go out of work early due to no power.

No sign of a storm here..or any let up.Pressure is stable, humidity relatively low, temp high.
Is this the only part of the UK to escape the strorms of the last few days?
