Welcome to Splutter!

This is the new BBFans Magazine which Christine has kindly set up for us

The idea is to create threads around different topics and then anyone can contribute with articles and comments and funny stuff etc.

Some people have already volunteered to do certain jobs and write for certain threads so let's just see how it goes....

As if by magic, A forum appeared!

Thanks Christine!

Right everyone, lets get this show on the road. Our goal is to be the sort of magazine that WE would like to read ourselves.

I'd like to invite submissions from anyone at all on the subject of "my ideal magazine". Please post them in the thread I will be creating in a minute to discuss this topic. Then from that, we can establish common ground and we can come up with some FAQs and guidelines, and a general ethos for the magazine.

Please bear with us while we set things up and get established.

OOH. It did work!

Yesterday I came on the board and posted stuff and it kept saying that the magic beans werent working or something. But it would appear it took what I said anyway and posted it. Which is nice.

Launch Party sounds good. I'll bring the Chilli Doritos and Caramelised Onion Houmous.

Hi Folks :D First of all I must apologise as I've not been here in ages (work and other dull stuff!) then I noticed this 'splutter magazine' section.

If you like I can do a sort of wildlife corner thing, I am interested in conservation and may be be able to offer tips about how to attract wild birds, beneficial insects and mammals to your garden.
I can also share with you information about what birds you might find in your garden and in the countryside and how we can all give nature a helping hand.

Just an idea, what do you think?
