Can confer ,temperature is currently 3.6C and falling quickly in Northamptonshire.
Last night was forecasted to drop to 1C but after dropping to just above 3C around 4am it rose again quite quickly to around 6C where it stayed for the rest of the night.
High pressure has been building steadily all day rising from this mornings reading of 1020 to it's present 1032 MilliBars.
And with the whole country currently looking clear of rain on the Met Office Radar the lack of clouds will allow the temperatures to fall sharply.
Todays high was just under 10C recorded between 1PM and 3PM.

There endth my observations for today.

All the greenhouses have their insulation in place and most of the plants in them are covered as well.
This could we be the first frost ,lowest so far being 1.5C.

I can confirm that the temperature in my lounge is currently 25 degrees celcius, and that I am comfortable.

No sign of dew in here.

I have to agree, he cracks me up..it's the way he personalises the forecasts that make him so funny.

Here too. It's awful. But I did hear someone say it'll get cold tomorrow, so I'm crossing my fingers for snow.

...and it helped! There was snow on the ground this morning when I woke up and it's still there

There was a wee bit of snow on the ground here this morning too, but it has gone! There was sleet and hail during period one as well but although it's still very chilly it has brightened up big time.

We did have some snowflakes in the afternoon over here and hopefully tonight some more. It's colder, and moon is full today, not that much clouds to snow enough but not too much that we can see the full moon over here tonight. Not windy and rainy at all today!

It's been on and off here with it being sunny and over cast. No disresepect to Larry, but couldn't he do the boring stuff for me? I'm planning to clip my toe nails soon.

it obviously snowed here last night as my car had frozen stuff on it this morning - thank goodness for a heated front windscreen of my new car
