I bought a 'Magic Bullet' on E-bay.. having firt seen it on an Infomercial. I got it for a good price but it still turned out to be a waste of money - the base unit burned out after 2 weeks. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Has anyone else bought a gadget (kicthen or otherwise) that they'd recommend or something they wouldn't recommend. I'm now thinking of buying a 'Nicer Dicer' has anyone got one of these and would they recommend it? ( Yep, I'm a sucker for buying gadgets at the Ideal Homes exhibition too. Somebody stop me!

I bought a sauage maker once. Made a ton of sausages in one go then went into a draw never to see the light of day...so much easier to buy them |

Oh I can relate to that, CC - I have cupboards full of such items. As for those Steam Cleaners - type you carry around like a bag, got one of those, another WASTE OF MONEY. Though I have to say I get a lot of use from my 'Ultimate Chopper' that was a good buy- got 2 for price of one, gave one as a present. |

I've bought things that I've watched being demonstrated in shops. And I also once got a free thing that cuts oranges and tomatoes into zigzaggy shapes. |
