dunno, the woman who got sacked deserved to go, but it was nothing to do with her sex, she just made a rotten business decision. some of the guys look knobs as well, they'll soon get sacked too

oh I missed the start is it every wednesday?

It's on every wednesday at 9pm on BBC2 but it is repeated late on Saturday nights on BBC3 so you can watch it when you come back from the pub.

Having just watched the first one I was very impressed by the lads. They seem focused on a simple strategy, the company name, Impact, is also very good. The girls just didn't work as well as they should've done as a team. Hopefully they'll have learnt from their mistakes and will now be well up for it.

I don't think you have to be a tw*t to get to the top. There are different ways of doing it, but nearly all of them involve hard work. You won't get to the top just doing your 9 to 5 every weekday.

Saw this programme tonight, I'm really getting into it. Never thought I would, those two women bitching at each other in his office to stay in the show was amazing. :D Thought the other's getting that free view box was good as well, Free box for Free View, the ones giving them it weren't daft. Bet they get loads of people in the shop asking for one now. Being serious nice bit of free publicity for them to sell a few. ()^

i thought that getting it free should have been considered cheating, after all everyone in a supply chain needs to make a profit or the whole thing collapses, begging something for free hardly makes the contestants look like being high powered business peeps

Finally caught up with it. Seriously, how did any of the women, apart from Saira, even make it on the show. They are hopeless! I wouldn't want any of them working for me. Adele - appointing a PA, and that Lindsay, pursuing her middle-class, out-dated idea of toys for modern kids? How out of touch? Clueless.

I am seriously impressed by the Lads. Great name for a company, great idea for a toy, even though it was an idea already established I don't think they were aware of it. Working as a team, working professionally, blagging it wherever possible.

I would put money on Tim or Ben to get the job, Raj as the dark horse.

Oh dear, it ain't looking good for the girls, another one went tonight. These people are supposed to be the cream of young entrepreneurs in the country, and tonight we saw one bawling her eyes out coz she couldn't sell a few cuddly toys :-? . And there's nothing more embarrassing or uncomfortable to see than an emotional argument in the workplace. Adele totally deserved to go, but she dug herself into a hole she couldn't get out of. She thought the others saw her as a threat? Hmm, dream on, luv. Fair play to Saira, she could sell snow to eskimos.

THE girls are in pretty dire straits on my TV show The Apprentice. As we hit the fifth week it really is turning into a battle of the sexes with seven boys and just three girls left - each hoping to be the next great entrepreneur and land that six figure salary job with me.

What you saw last week, people will come across in life and business all the time. Someone who realises they are doomed and jump knowing they are going to be pushed.

Adele really had a problem. Basically she had a complex that everyone was against her from the beginning. She continued to moan and it got on my nerves.

I did warn her that Harrods were going to help us out and she had to treat them respectfully and there she was being rude to them. I knew she was going to go.

I felt sorry for team leader Tim. He didn't deserve to lose (both teams did exceptionally well) but I was glad Adele was on that team as it gave me the excuse to get rid of her. Had she not been in the losing team I would have found it difficult to pick someone to sack.

I could have really used my power as the boss and decided that the winning team was illegal as they did, in effect, give away some of their seed money (the float they were given for marketing) to bring in sales. They bought vouchers to give customers, which I could have disqualified them for. Tonight's show tests a completely different set of skills. The teams have to put on an art exhibition, interview some up and coming and established artists, pick two to work with and sell their art.

This one really sorts the men from the boys. It exposes the different skills one needs in selling different categories of product.

The person who everyone had down as the super-salesman really bombed out. Art is all down to the punters' likes and dislikes. What you have to recognise is when you have a fish on the hook and to reel it in.

The girls continue to embarrass me. At the beginning of the series I told them some of the best people who have ever worked for me are women. I think women are great in business but this is really testing my beliefs.

I just hope the remaining women pull themselves around and grasp that this is all about teamwork and not bitching and arguing. We seem to have got rid of most of the squabblers and they might now see the light and get down to proper business.

I watched this last night. Why do all the girls think their biggest strength is bitching? Saira let herself down with a total put-down of Paul in the Boardroom, which really wasn't called for. If you're going to criticise someone do it fairly, without emotion, and almost business-like. You should still have respect for the other person, because you never know when you're going to have to count on them.

Saira's approach to the artist was just laughable, which surprised me as I really had her down as a serious contender. It just proves, that some things are not all about hard sell - you actually need to work hard to win people over.

Thought Paul came out of it better myself, think there's going to be trouble after what Saira said in the episode. The gloves are really going to start coming off now. I like Paul so far, and he wasn't going to let that Alan Sugar intimidate him neither. I like that, he might be the boss but he's still a fellow human being after all. err... I think ::lol::

I agree, I think Paul did come out of it well, considering that Matthew tried to engineer a conspiracy to throw Rachel out. Paul wasn't interested and when put on the spot about who he would like to be fired he stood his ground well. He's a pretty good salesman, maybe art just isn't his stuff, and I think he survived on his past good deeds. Think Tim is a strong candidate to win overall but he's a bit too Mr Nice Guy - nothing wrong with that but it's a bit too ar$e-lickery at times. However, he's full of some good ideas and is a good leader.

I think that Matthew was the right one to go and right at the beginning of the programme, I said that I thought it would be Matthew who went before I even knew that his team would lose!

I can't really decide yet who I think may win.

Miriam's abit of a Dark Horse, she keeps herself to herself she's the only girl with all the guy's but she did well leading them all during the Cd changer task , didn't hear no complaints from the blokes specially when she put that dress on for them for winning the task. ;)
