Celebrity Apprentice To Return Celebrity Apprentice is set to return for Sport Relief – and former BBC director Greg Dyke is the first contestant to sign up, according to newspaper reports. Around twelve celebrities are expected to appear on the March charity show, which will see Apprentice boss Sir Alan Sugar fire them one by one. According to an insider: “The show was a massive success when we did it for Comic Relief. “Sir Alan can’t wait.” waveguide.co.uk |

Sport Relief Does The Apprentice BBC1, Wednesday 12 March 9:00pm - 10:00pm This is the delicious Apprentice charity spin-off that last year generated one of the strangest TV moments of 2007: a less-than-gentlemanly Piers Morgan fighting in a hotel suite with Trinny Woodall, who attacked him with a biro. (The pen is not, in practice, mightier than the sword, she found.) We can only hope for similarly frenzied rivalry this year. The fact that Morgan's mentor, former Sun editor Kelvin MacKenzie, is among the celebs braving Sir Alan Sugar's wrath looks promising. He's the likely alpha male in a "boys" team that also includes Lembit Opik, Phil Tufnell and Nick Hancock, while on the "girls" team property expert Kirstie Allsopp, Louise Redknapp and Clare Balding aim to raise more money for charity. Each team will stock and run their own shop in the West End of London. The fun concludes on Friday. radiotimes |
