Apprentice winner Yasmina Siadatan has admitted that two different endings were filmed for the current series of the hit show.In the ending which was screened on Sunday night, viewers saw Sir Alan telling Yasmina that she had been picked as his apprentice, however, an alternative version was also filmed where runner-up Kate Walsh was told that she was the winner.
Two outcomes are recorded in order to keep the result secret until the final is screened on TV and Yasmina only found out Sir Alan's real decision at the weekend. This means that at the time of recording both contestants have to fake their happiness at getting the job.
She told The Sun: "Sir Alan told Kate first and then he told me. He asked me, 'How you feeling?' and I said, 'I'm really nervous'. He said, 'Don't worry, you've got it!"
The 27-year-old restaurant owner said that the decision has still not sunk in and added: I'm riding a huge wave of joy - it's brilliant. I love it."
Meanwhile, runner-up Kate has admitted that she is out of work for the first time in ten years since appearing on the show.
She told the Daily Mirror: "Yes, I am unemployed. It's the first time I have been unemployed since I was 15-years-old, so I am a little bit apprehensive. But I am also really excited about what prospects might come my way in the future."
