:Delighted Davina tells friends she's having baby No3
By Nicola Methven, Tv Editor
BIG Brother host Davina McCall has told friends she is expecting her third baby.
Excited Davina, 39, broke the news at a party at the weekend and told pals she and hubby Matthew Robertson were thrilled
She said: "I'm expecting another baby and we're absolutely delighted. I'm so looking forward to having another baby. We are over the moon."
One partygoer said: "She was ecstatic - it was as if she had just been told she'd won a lottery rollover jackpot. I've seldom seen anyone so delirious with joy."
The news comes on the eve of her new BBC chat show, which starts tomorrow. Davina, who hid any sign of a bump under a heavy coat as she left BBC studios in London yesterday, recently said she would love to give ex-Pet Rescue star Matthew a son. They have two daughters, Holly, four, and Tilly, two.
Davina's parents split when she was three and she admits she went off the rails as a youngster, battling drink and drug problems before turning her life around.
But she has claimed giving birth gave her a far bigger high than any drug she had ever tried. She said: "My deliveries were orgasmic. They knocked spots off any drug.
"When those babies came out, I wanted to stand naked on the highest mountain and scream with pride. I could do it over again and again and again."
She also admitted this week to feeling guilty about working because it meant she missed time with her family.
Davina told Good Housekeeping: "It's definitely a juggling act, but I like working and being a mother. It's not easy though and I spend a lot of time feeling incredibly guilty. But I have very strict rules about how many days I actually work because I want to be there for my family.
"It's something I feel extremely strongly about, maybe because my own mother wasn't around when I was a child."
Davina announced her baby news at friend Mark Diggin's 50th birthday party.
Her chat show comes a few months after her BBC1 Saturday night programme He's Having A Baby flopped.
She has vowed to be tough with difficult guests, claiming: "I'll give as good as I get."
Davina was recently voted the Most Inspirational Celebrity Mother in a magazine poll, beating Jerry Hall, Cherie Blair, Jools Oliver, and Madonna. Last night her spokeswoman declined to comment.
