LEAPING in and out of the boxes and corridors of the Grand Opera House, York, foppish rock 'n' roll comedian Russell Brand promised a show full of energy - not that anyone at this point really knew what to expect from the Big Brother's Big Mouth presenter on his two-night run in the city.
But we soon would.
"I get obsessed by the nuances of things,' he said, and proceeded to tell us why the lyrics to Katie Price and Peter Andre's A Whole New World annoyed him ("I mean how can feelings be indescribable?", he quipped), before launching into a look at our very own The Press, to see "whether the media is a tool of the Government, or just there to make us laugh."
