A brave new dad from the West Midlands helped deliver his newborn baby at home with only the help of paramedics over the phone, according to local reports.

A growing number of expectant mums in the UK are opting to give birth at home, with celebrities such as Charlotte Church and Davina McCall serving as advocates for homebirths
