Big Brother narrator Marcus Bentley has revealed that he has left Channel 4.
Bentley has done the voice over on the reality show since it first hit our screens back in the year 2000.
He announced on twitter that he would be departing the channel on Monday.
The news has prompted speculation that he may join Channel 5 to be the voice of Big Brother when it begins next month.
He tweeted: "Listening to the epic Glasvegas on my way home from my last ever Friday working for Channel4! Time for a drink!"
When questioned by former Big Brother housemate Luke Marsden about the news, Bentley elaborated: "Last day on Monday Luke... After 10 years... Time to move on etc."
He did not reveal whether he would now be moving to Channel 5 for Big Brother 12.
However, when discussing with the Daily Star Sunday how he would feel with someone else taking over his role, he said it would "break his heart".
