New Orleans police officials are far from amused by funnyman Russell Brand - they have issued a warrant for his arrest over his recent run-in with a paparazzo.Russell was accused of hurling photographer Timothy Jackson's mobile phone through the window of an abandoned building in the city on Monday and the snapper filed a police report, citing "criminal damages".
US cops took the claim seriously and began an investigation into the incident, and now authorities have given them the go-ahead to bring the actor in.
When arrested he may get up to 25 years in a maximum security cell !
