20 years ago I may have agreed with you but today being a porn star is no worse than being a traffic warden or tax inspector. The problems with porn stars and their families are not problems with the people involved in the sex industry but with outsiders perceptions of it and the people who work in it. Obviously this does not apply to individuals forced into the industry or otherwise abused.

20 years ago being gay was met with the same negative attitudes outside the gay community, but today it is porn stars who are seen as something abnormal by outsiders.

I know many will disagree with me on this but I worked in the sex industry for almost 20 years and saw it from the other side, before which I had the same attitude. Being a porn star is a job and in all the instances where I have known porn stars with children, the kids have turned out to have a much more open minded and healthier outlook on life.

Sex isnt evil, we all do it, it is just some dont keep it behind closed doors like most of us do. The act is the same either way just we do it privately and they do it publicly.

I think her son would get more ribbing about the size of his mums boobs than what she does with them.

Simply by having a camera rolling does not make something normal, abnormal or evil

Yeah I have never understood why women of a certain age pluck all their eyebrows off and then draw them back on again.

Im liking Lea, as a HM, a tart with a heart,she seems warm and friendly,I dont think she will win,but I hope she gets to stay for a good few weeks

She won her place in the BB7 house just like the rest of them in there therefore she has the right just like the rest of them to win!

I agree with you to some degree E13 lad and I DO like her. However I know children who have been very damaged as a result of the porn industry and I know of adults too who have been damaged for most of their life because of things in their childhood and it is fair to say it is not through a lack of openmindedness. THIS is the point that I have about it without being prudish. I think it's fair to say I'm not I think it's what her son may be going through. Even if nothing is happening externally a lot could be going on in his head and Lea didn't seem open about it in the show which makes me question whether she has been open about it with her son.

Like I said I was surprised Pikey knew nothing of it as she usually has her finger on the pulse of all things BB and was sure it had been mentioned before

oh and I am not JUDGING her. I like her. I just feel for children who get mixed up in this kind of thing when they have no choice.

You make some good points E13 lad and it is interesting to hear the point of view from an insider to the sex industry. But I do wonder how much of an exception to the rule you are. How many people are there who enter the porn industy, then regret it later in life? I also wonder how much of a career choice it actually is and how many people either drift into it feeling their chances of success in other occupations are limited and end up feeling used and manipulated.

I know I wouldn't want my children to aspire to be in the porn industry.I also don't really want one of their heros to be a porn star as children tend to aspire to be like their heroes. I don't think of sex as being evil, but I do see it as a private and intimate act and would want my children to see it in this way.

In saying all of this, I do, of course realise that the industry is there because of demand and supply. And also would add that I think Lea comes across as a nice person on BB and I quite like her (so far).
