I would imagine that if she was anorexic she would be less willing to show her body the way she does Alan. She has been quite happy to do topless shots etc and I always thought anorexics hid their body because they felt 'fat'

I know more about bulimia. I haven't had it but someone close to me has had it for about 16years. I could write a book. Anyway Nikki may still be anorexic but I'm surprised she would be as open about showing her body as she is if she is...still (does that make sense?)

I'm no expert on the matter, but I believe anorexics cannot be lumped into one type.
Sure there are those who are ashamed of their bodies, and there are those I believe, who just want to be skinny and love to show off their bones, and those who just like to control something.

I only think this because I saw a programme on BBC3 called 'I LOVE being anorexic'

I'm not saying that I would put Nikki in the 'show off their bones' camp, but it's definitely a more complex disorder than someone just believing they are fat.

Just type 'pro ana' into google (I learned this from the same TV programme BTW) and you'll be shocked and amazed and puzzled at what you'll find.

ah right fair enough HD like I say I don't know much about it. I know eating disorders are complex with complex people but don't know a lot about anorexia.

Thanks for the info cos I was wondering before when someone said about the water. Struck me as odd.

I must admit that last night I was saying the exact same thing about her - she was reacting like someone who has a problem with food rather than that particular meal..
