To fill their bellies this week the housemates have been instructed to flex their brain muscles.

Their intelligence will be tested, their powers of concentration will be stretched, and their dress sense will be turned bad bad bad, as they transform into geeks.


Throughout the Geek Task, all the housemates will have their powers of observation tested as they spot trains on a railway that Big Brother has installed in the garden.

After that thrilling interlude, they will be divided into three groups and learn maths, language or science skills.

Housemates must pass at least three out of four tests to win a luxury shopping budget. But it's basic rations if they fail. But really - on a Geek Task - how could they?

The charity shops of Elstree must be empty today, as Big Brother has delivered geek wardrobes to the housemates. And my, don't they look priddy.

In an explosion of socks, sun-visors and sensible shoes, the housemates slipped enthusiastically into their new threads.


Sezer looked ravishing in a tree-print woolly jumper, red bow tie and sunshade. While Lisa cut a dash in knee socks, sandals and specs with a plaster around the bridge.

Richard had the gift of too-short trousers, white socks and sandals, braces and a wig. While Pete's red-shirt-and-braces combo was topped off with a yellow cap, complete with rotor blades.

"To be a real geek you have to ...." and with that Pete pulled his pants up to his armpits.

"I feel like I'm a nun or something," said Nikki, donning her yellow smock dress.

It's SO a good look...

Their all learning Klingon now ....
